Due to departmental growth and programmatic expansion, the HTTC at UC San Diego Health is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and seeks a faculty member specialized in Classical Hematology<\/u><\/strong> at the level of Assistant Professor or above. The Hematologist is expected to further build and help expand the multidisciplinary programs (robust clinical programs, basic\/translational\/clinical research, and educational activities including teaching) of the Division of Hematology\/Oncology, Department of Medicine and the Hemophilia and Thrombosis Treatment Center.<\/p>\n

The Division is seeking a Classical Hematologist<\/u><\/strong> with an interest in clinical, basic science, or translational research and\/or medical education involving hemostasis\/thrombosis and who is committed to excellence in patient care.<\/p>\n

Requirements for the Position:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Candidates must have an MD, DO, or equivalent degree and be board-certified\/eligible in Hematology. Candidates must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification\/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate\u2019s qualifications and experience.<\/p>\n
