T<span style=\"color: black\"><span style=\"text-align: start\">he University of California, Irvine (UCI) <\/span><\/span><span style=\"background: white\">School of Medicine&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: black;background: white\">is dedicated to advancing medical knowledge and clinical practice through scholarly research, physician education, and high-quality patient care.<\/span><span style=\"color: black\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Division of Hematology\/Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) is recruiting for a <strong>Head and Neck Cancer<\/strong> <strong>clinical faculty member at the level of Assistant Professor or above<\/strong>, in the Health Sciences Clinical Series. Candidates will be supported by a strong organization with visionary leadership dedicated to advancing the care of the cancer patient. Position can involve clinical and academic activities at either or both UC Irvine Medical Center and the VA Long Beach Medical Center.&nbsp;In addition to an expanding multidisciplinary team, UCI has plans for a new hospital that will have a focus on hematology and oncology coming soon to our main campus.<\/p>\n<p>The position will be approximately<strong> 60% clinical time and 40% fully protected academic time.<\/strong> The Division seeks individuals who want to focus on specific tumor groups as well as who have interest in bringing new and innovative treatments to trial and beyond.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Division of Hematology\/Oncology<\/strong> at UCI is dedicated to education, research and state-of-the-art care of patients with blood diseases and cancer.
