\u201cNo one ever transformed their life from simply reading a book,\u201d says Chris Majer<\/a>, founder and CEO of the Spokane, Wash.-based management consulting firm The Human Potential Project<\/a>. \u201cChange can only take place through practice, patience, and perseverance.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cToo often we believe if we gain enough information and understanding, we will do something different,\u201d says Majer. \u201cBut that just isn\u2019t true.\u201d<\/p>\n
