{"id":1817,"date":"2013-11-25T10:09:49","date_gmt":"2013-11-25T16:09:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kbicblog.com\/blog\/healthcare-finance\/?p=1817"},"modified":"2016-09-15T13:12:51","modified_gmt":"2016-09-15T18:12:51","slug":"our-favorite-thanksgiving-pie-recipe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kbicblog.com\/healthcare-finance\/kbic-publications\/our-favorite-thanksgiving-pie-recipe\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Favorite Thanksgiving Pie Recipe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kbicblog.com\/blog\/academic-medicine\/files\/2013\/11\/Chocolate-Chip-Pie.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Chocolate Chip Pie\" src=\"http:\/\/kbicblog.com\/blog\/academic-medicine\/files\/2013\/11\/Chocolate-Chip-Pie.jpg\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1067\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center\">Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie Recipe<\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center\">from Nestle<\/h1>\n<h1><em>Preheat oven to 325<\/em><\/h1>\n<p>1 unbaked pie crust, homemade or store bought<br \/>\n2 large eggs<br \/>\n1\/2 cup flour<br \/>\n1\/2 cup white granulated sugar<br \/>\n1\/2 cup packed brown sugar<br \/>\n3\/4 cup butter softened (1 and 1\/2 sticks)<br \/>\n1 cup chocolate chips<br \/>\n1 cup pecans or walnuts (optional)<\/p>\n<p>Having some ice cream and chocolate sauce on hand probably wouldn&#8217;t hurt.<\/p>\n<p>Beat your eggs in a large mixer until foamy.<\/p>\n<p>Now add in your flour and sugars.\u00a0\u00a0 Beat until well blended.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Beat in the softened butter. \u00a0Stir in your chocolate chips and nuts.<\/p>\n<p>Give it a stir.\u00a0Now you will pour it into your pie crust. \u00a0When it comes to pie crust, Pillsbury refrigerated crusts have my devotion. They are so ridiculously easy, they taste great, and really nobody can tell the difference (especially if you just accept their compliments and keep the box hidden in the bottom of your garbage can).\u00a0\u00a0 Plus I love that you can freeze them, and the little tiny box takes up less room than a pre-made pie crust would. \u00a0 So, that is what I used for this recipe.\u00a0 And all other pie related recipes.<\/p>\n<p>Take it out of the box.<\/p>\n<p>Roll it out on your pie plate\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Spoon in your filling.\u00a0 Seriously, how easy is that.
