You will use email when you communicate with your hiring manager, even if you also use text messages sometimes for casual communications like \u201cHave a minute to talk by phone later today?\u201d<\/p>\n

Let your recruiter or hiring manager initiate the use of text messaging. You can use email until invited to switch to a less format communication channel and text instead.<\/p>\n

Here are five email templates that will come in handy during your job search.<\/p>\n

 1. You mentioned that the Marketing Coordinator is a salaried position and that the starting salary is in the vicinity of $58,000 per year. Is there a bonus program associated with the role as well?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

2. My other question relates to travel. I can travel up to 25% of the time in 2017 and I have several weeks of vacation booked as well as local commitments that are fixed at this point. I Got The Offer \u2014 But It\u2019s Not Correct<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Thanks for the telephone conversation on Tuesday. Your offer letter arrived today. I was excited to get it and I\u2019m stoked to join your team.<\/p>\n

The offer letter is different from what we discussed in two respects. The salary level in the offer letter is $55,600 versus the $58,000 starting salary we talked about.<\/p>\n

Also, there is no mention in the offer letter of the bonus program Amanda Laurence in HR described. I figured these differences sprang from a clerical mishap so I wanted to let you know about the discrepancies.<\/p>\n

If you can please get me a corrected offer letter I\u2019ll sign it and get it back to you right away. Thanks again Peter, and have a wonderful weekend!<\/p>\n
