During this uncertain time with COVID-19, things as we know it are shifting and changing across the globe.

Firstly, Kaye/Bassman’s Insurance team would like to send our thoughts and well-wishes to everyone who has been affected. Secondly, instead of writing a blog post about working remotely, social-distancing, or the effects of COVID-19 on business that might just get lost in the sea of other similar writings, I’d like to attach a video link of Kaye/Bassman’s Co-CEO Jeff Kaye on Fox Business News.

Jeff Kaye proposes that there was already a trend towards remote work, and that it may in fact be more productive for some people. If we adapt to this technology, where businesses seem to be heading already, then we have the chance to prove that we are the leaders of whatever industry we are in, despite the circumstances that surround us.

Companies that have claimed working remotely is near impossible, are being proved wrong. Employees who thought they wouldn’t be efficient out of the office, are being introduced to a better work-life balance that makes them more productive. Businesses are adapting to delivery, using tech platforms, and much more.

We are a changed world now, either we adapt or we get left behind in this ever-changing technology-dependent world we live in.
