Shareholder in the company. Oversees the entire Retail Insurance & Risk Management division as well as the M&A Practice.

Prior to joining Kaye/Bassman, Nathan had a wide array of experience from working in the oil and gas arena to holding a position as Vice President at a small employee benefit agency. While in the insurance business, he realized his passion for the insurance industry and decided to transport that passion with him to Kaye/Bassman. His enthusiasm to seek out possibilities and his dedication to the business makes him an asset to the industry and his clients. In 2012, he started out in a pure production role at Kaye/Bassman and quickly broke records that led him to be awarded as “Project Staff of the Year” as well as qualified him for Kaye/Bassman’s top performer’s pacesetter trips. He was quickly promoted to run the division and has continued to break records in the company.

Nathan has created a wide range of connections that rely on him for his consultative advice. He has opened offices for national and regional firms, put boots on the ground where brokerages did not previously have a footprint, and has been a critical part of specific mergers and acquisitions in the market. He has the industry experience of working with boutique firms up to regional and national firms. Nathan constantly has a “pulse” on the industry so that with every conversation he has, he is bringing valuable information to the table. He successfully runs a team of individuals who continue to outperform any expectations placed on them due to Nathan’s strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

A graduate of the University Southern California and Tulsa College of Law, this Southern California native came to Kaye/Bassman in 2008 bringing 11 years of legal experience. Prior to joining Kaye/Bassman, Seth worked for a Law firm focusing his practice on Criminal, Contracts and Entertainment law. During his tenure, Seth worked primarily with professional athletes and was a key member of the deal team that constructed Running Back Priest Holmes’ $40 mil. initial contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.

In 2008, Seth transitioned to Kaye/Bassman where he made an immediate impact winning “Rookie of the Year,” while creating the Wholesale Insurance practice from scratch. Over the course of his career, Seth has made placements with nearly every firm in the top 25 ranging from C level Executives to large Broker teams and their support with 90% of his business stemming from repeat clientele. Known for his unparalleled knowledge base of the E&S space, Seth works with his clients to develop long-term strategies offering insight into competitive compensation models, platform and brokerage team efficiencies, specialty practice facilities, competitor intel and more.

 

Nasrin Akter

Managing Partner responsible for the development of recruiters, sourcing and placing of candidates, and opening offices for regional and national firms.

Prior to joining Kaye/Bassman, Nasrin Akter came from a background of health and wellness after earning her degree in Exercise Science. She then moved on to placing physician executives at a multi-billion-dollar corporation, and quickly obtained the title of a Senior Search Consultant. She realized her passion for helping others and seamlessly transitioned into the Risk Management and Insurance division at Kaye/Bassman. She attributes her success to constantly being dedicated to achieving results for her clients. Nasrin became a “rising star” at KBIC through proving herself to be a hard-working and talented individual. She has qualified for Kaye/Bassman’s top performer’s pacesetter trips and was promoted to help run the division.

She is a Managing Partner leading the team with mentoring and developing the search consultants and project consultants under her. Nasrin takes a consultative and personal approach while speaking with those in the market. Her prior experience in health and wellness gives her an advantage to understand her clients on a higher level. She was a critical part of multiple client acquisitions, resulting in thousands of dollars in revenue. She is an expert in building the market presence of brokerages by searching and adding top tier talent to their organization. She has the industry experience of working with clients as small as $3 million in total volume up to $3 billion in revenue across the nation.

Nasrin continues to deliver and set herself apart from her competitors in the marketplace. Her ability to empathize and differentiate the needs of her clients and candidates has led to a wide array of relationships that rely on her expertise and consultative advice.

Senior Search Consultant charged with heading up with South-East Region and M&A team.

Before joining KBIC Chris placed physician executives much like Nasrin. After he came to Kaye/Bassman he was quickly promoted to Executive Search Consultant and Team Leader over the Mergers and Acquisition practice within our Insurance and Risk Management division. He has successfully partnered with key clients to carve out new specific niche’ specialty practices. Due to Chris’ relentless pursuit of success he has recruited key individuals and agencies that become assets to our clients. These special relationships, along with his knowledge and capabilities, allow our clients to strategically and tactically outperform their competitors, reaping substantial returns on their investment in Chris and the team.

David uses his previous experience as a business owner and his education in safety management systems to create efficiency in the process of day-to-day operations. David received his Master’s in Occupational Safety Management from the University of Central Missouri. The methodology of continuous improvement (Kaizen) is a core value that he puts into practice on a daily basis. David’s success lies in his innate ability to handle and fix any problems thrown his way. He is committed to the outcome but still focused on the details. Prior to joining the KBIC Insurance team as an Executive Search Consultant, Allison was a collegiate athlete who graduated with honors from the University of North Texas, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. As an Executive Search Consultant with KBIC, Allison’s natural ability to connect with others and go above and beyond what is necessary to invest time in nurturing those relationships allows her clients and candidates peace of mind knowing that she is a true advocate for them and their best interests. By applying this type of mindset and way of thinking to her business, the ultimate outcome results in wins for both the candidate and client involved.

Prior to joining KBIC, Molly received her degree in International Business and Marketing at the University of Tampa. She utilizes her education in marketing to assist in research and sourcing. As Business Development, Molly is detail-oriented and committed to supporting her team. She uses her adeptness in technology to surface talent, cultivate relationships, and market the team in the insurance arena. She is laser-focused on providing the best communication and service to candidates and potential candidates.

Sejal interned for the KBIC Insurance Team in the summer of 2021 prior to finishing her senior year at Baylor University. She completed her undergraduate degree with a Bachelor’s in Health Science Studies and a Minor in Business Administration. As an undergraduate, she worked as a campus manager for an apparel company where she developed marketing, entrepreneurship, and sales communication skills. Returning back to KBIC a year later, she actively utilizes these skills in her new role as a full-time Search Consultant.
