Abdominal Imaging Section Chief Description

The Abdominal/Body Imaging Section of the Department of Radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) seeks a dynamic and visionary academic clinician for a full-time appointment at the Assistant Professor Level or higher in Milwaukee, WI. The successful candidate will be a board-certified radiologist with fellowship experience in abdominal/body (non-neuro) imaging who is developing an academic career focused on abdominal/body imaging. Reporting directly to the Section Chief of the MCW Abdominal/Body Imaging Section, this faculty position will be a core part of the growing commitment to clinical excellence, teaching, scholarship, and translational research within the Department of Radiology at MCW. 

The MCW Abdominal/Body Imaging Section & Department of Radiology:

The Abdominal/Body Imaging Section includes 17 faculty radiologists and 4 fellows-in-training who cover diagnostic abdominal/body CT, MR, ultrasound, and GI/GU fluoroscopy imaging services across our growing health system. In addition, the section provides image-guided interventional services for percutaneous biopsy and drainage procedures through our inpatient/outpatient consultation service staffed with APP support (Advanced Practice Providers, NP/PA) at the main academic medical center. In addition to clinical care, the section actively participates in non-clinical scholarly activities focused on individual interests in education, research, quality, informatics, and/or administration.
