Body Imaging Radiology Faculty Opportunity Description

The Department of Radiology at Loyola Medicine is seeking a full-time, board-certified Body Imaging Radiologist to join the highly active department located on the Health Sciences Campus in Maywood, IL. The preferred candidate will join a growing division of 14 body imagers supporting clinical services across Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC), Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and associated ambulatory care centers. There are substantial opportunities for clinical and translational research, and interest and experience in research and educational innovation is encouraged.

Loyola Medicine is a regional, quaternary care system based in Chicago’s western suburbs and a member of Trinity Health, one of nation’s largest non-profit health systems. The 3-hospital system includes Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC), a nationally ranked academic medical center with 547 licensed beds in Maywood; Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, a 254-bed community hospital in Melrose Park; MacNeal Hospital, a 374-bed community hospital in Berwyn; as well as convenient locations offering primary care, specialty care, and immediate care services from more than 1,772 physicians throughout the Chicago metro area (Cook, Will, and DuPage counties).

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certifications/Licensure:

  • Current Board Certification in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred, but not required.
  • Unrestricted State of Illinois Medical License (current or eligible by time of hire).
