Rewarding opportunity for a highly motivated individual (current APDs/Core Faculty) inspired on helping build a premier Family Medicine ACGME-accredited program with Indiana’s nationally ranked community-based health system.

Parkview Health – the largest health system in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio – is seeking an experienced family physician to join our fully sponsored Family Medicine Residency Program (6-8 residents per year) as the Associate Program Director. SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:

The Family Medicine Residency Associate Program Director must possess:

  • Demonstration of ability as a teacher.
  • Demonstration of administrative and management skills.
  • Valid licensure; Have appropriate medical staff privileges and be board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP).
  • Full scope outpatient family practice; competence in a wide range of outpatient procedures highly desirable..
  • Willingness to serve as PD when that position is vacated.
  • The following are highly desired but not required qualifications for the position:
    • Minimum 2 years of experience with a continuity practice.
    • Minimum 1 year of GME experience, preferably as a core faculty member within a family medicine residency program.
