Pediatric Radiology Physician Opportunity 

The Department of Radiology at the University of Kentucky (UK) College of Medicine seeks an exceptional full-time, ABR-certified/eligible Radiologist for a clinical faculty position in the Division of Pediatric Radiology at the Albert B. Chandler Medical Center (UK HealthCare). Reporting to the Division Chief of Pediatric Radiology, the Pediatric Radiologist will be responsible for providing the full range of diagnostic examinations and providing consultation to referring physicians at the region’s only Level 1 pediatric and adult trauma center

Position Summary:

The Division of Pediatric Radiology is a group of pediatric radiologists who provide a full range of diagnostic examinations for UK HealthCare and its satellite centers, including inpatient and outpatient radiography and fluoroscopy, CT, MR, and ultrasound.

The pediatric radiologists at the University of Kentucky are recognized experts in pediatric imaging including radiation dose reduction. The division has an active consultation service and has close working relationships with the clinical services of UK HealthCare. The division takes part in numerous multidisciplinary conferences ranging from the neonatal and pediatric intensive care services to nephrology. They provide dedicated teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows.

The faculty position will be full time with primary effort to support clinical services and time allowed for academic, scholarly, and administrative efforts.

Successful Candidate Should Have:

  • Proficiency in all areas of Pediatric Radiology.
  • Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology preferred or several years’ experience dedicated exclusively to Pediatric Radiology.
  • ABR-certified/board eligible.
