Director of Pharmacy at Confluence Health | KBIC Pharmacy JobsThe Department of Pharmacy Services at Confluence Health’s Central Washington Hospital is seeking a Director of Pharmacy to oversee the operations of the Pharmacy Department, ensuring a vision and strategy for future growth in North Central Washington and beyond.

The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for the design, operation, and improvement of the hospital’s medication distribution process with a focus on patient care and safety. This position promotes high levels of satisfaction with patients, providers, and staff through proactively addressing concerns through meaningful measures and interventions.

The Director of Pharmacy Services plans, directs, and monitors all financial, operational, professional, and clinical activities of the Pharmacy Department. Multi-site Health System, Inpatient/Outpatient Services, Retail Pharmacy, 12 Specialty/Primary Care Clinics, EPIC and Omnicell Systems, 340B, PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program.

The Pharmacy Enterprise at Confluence Health: Central Washington Hospital & Clinics offers an accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program, Inpatient/Outpatient Pharmacy Services, and a Retail Pharmacy. Pharmacists work side-by-side with physicians, care managers, and the interdisciplinary team to provide the most comprehensive care possible for patients.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:

  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Pharmacy; Pharm.D., preferred.
  • Master’s degree required or a combination of education and professional experience that provides the incumbent with the requisite knowledge, skills, and ability to successfully perform the job.

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of six (6) years of hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of management, supervisory or relevant leadership experience in a pharmacy, hospital, or healthcare setting.
  • Experience managing 340B program, desired.
