The Instructor is to facilitate learning, create a learning environment, and evaluate progression of learning for vocational nursing students. The Instructor must be able to relate well with students, faculty members, and administrators, maintain a calm demeanor during difficult circumstances, and exhibit professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:
- An MSN is required.
- Be a nurse currently licensed or have privileges to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Texas; or in accordance with the rules of the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Have been actively employed in nursing for the past 3 years or have advanced preparation in nursing, nursing education, and/or nursing administration.
- 3 years of varied nursing experience since graduation; and
- Ability to demonstrate teaching abilities and mainlining current knowledge and clinical expertise.
