Nursing Professor

The Nursing Instructor creates a learning environment, evaluates progression of learning for students and participates in planning and implementing the learning process.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure student compliance with agency protocols and participate in student evaluation process of class/clinical performance.
• Participate in student progress and retention.
• Maintaining open lines of communication with students and faculty

Requirements:

• Master of Science in Nursing degree required; DNP, DNsc or PhD in Nursing preferred
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse
• Have been actively employed in nursing for the past 3 years or have advanced preparation in nursing, nursing education, and/or nursing administration
• 3 years of varied nursing experience
• Teaching experience is preferred, not required
